Des Moines police say a man hit himself to make it look like he was a victim of a domestic attach. 23-year old Aaron Jay Rogers was taken to the Polk County jail on charges of domestic assault and simple assault. Police said he got out of jail Tuesday and went home intoxicated. He got into an argument with a woman about being drunk and having to go to jail the day before, and as things escalated his hit the woman then punched himself numerous times in the face. A witness saw the whole thing from her balcony.
