Fort Des Moines was packed last night with hundreds of anxious family and friends waiting to see their loved ones for the first time in 11 months. One hundred soldiers from the 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, based in Des Moines, arrived home. The troops were welcomed home by several hundreds of people, holding balloons and banners. All of them sharing lots of hugs, smiles and even some tears of joy.
