The Iowa State Penitentiary's maximum security unit's been on lockdown since this morning. Prison officials say one inmate was assaulted by another in the Iowa Prison Industries building. The inmate suspected in the assault's been segregated from the rest of the population while corrections officers look for the weapon that was used. The name of the inmate who was attacked hasn't been made public.
