There's been no call yet for Iowa to send any Red Cross disaster team members to help victims of yesterday's Tornadoes in the south. Cassadnra Nelson, spokesperson for the Central Iowa Chapter of the American Red Cross, tells KCCI 40 emergency response vehicles are headed to the area, but as of Thursday afternoon Iowa's team has not been called to help. The Iowa team assists in preparation and distribution of meals when they are sent to disaster zones.
