Gov. Branstad's unveiled an individual disaster assistance program for people in Buena Vista, Monona, Pocahontas and Sac counties, that are dealing with property damage from recent western Iowa storms. The program provides grants of up to $5,000 for households with an income of up to 200% of the federal poverty level. That would allow a maximum household income of $37,000 for a family of three.
