Des Moines police say a former Drake University employee may have embezzled over $470-thousand from the institution. KCCI reports police have charged 49-year old Robert Harlan with theft, one count for each of the 5-years he's believed to have stolen money from the university. A department spokesperson says this may have started back to 2004. Police say they don't know how the money was taken or what Harlan may have done with it.
