Last weekend, 2-year old Russhawn Jackson was found unconscious in a Des Moines entertainment district and spent two days in a medically induced coma. His family told the Register he finally opened his eyes and said something and gave them hope that maybe his speech won't be impaired. Des Moines police know a fight broke out early Sunday in the Court Avenue district, but the whole story has yet to be pieced together. Jackson remains in fair condition.
