The thrill a metro woman felt after moving into a new apartment, turned into shock, after the building it's in was badly damaged by fire. 23-year old Alysha Street is still trying to comprehend what happened Wednesday night, after losing everything she had to fire at the Lincoln Plaza building in Des Moines. Des Moines Fire Investigators believe that the fire started in a first floor utility room. By the time firefighters arrived, the building was already a total loss. Several businesses on the first floor were also destroyed by the blaze.
