When Des Moines City Council meets tonight to find a way to close a $7-million shortfall in next years budget, they're expected to consider cutting the hours at city polls. Today's a unique day for that discussion with the temperature hitting 100. KCCI reports the proposed pool hour cuts wouldn't start until next year.
