Authorities say there were no injuries in a small fire this morning in an electrical room at the Metals Development Building, on the ISU campus in Ames. Firefighters say there was lightning in the area at the time the fire started, but the cause is still under investigation. KCCI reports the damage, done to electrical equipment, was about $40,000.
