A 17-year-old boy drowned at Raccoon River Park on Monday night. Witnesses said the boy and a friend swam out to the no-wake buoy, and the boy had trouble while coming back. Bystanders jumped in to help, but couldn't find the teen. The incident happened at about 5 p.m. Divers found the teen's body about an hour and a half after the boy went under... and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The teen's name has not yet been released.
