Des Moines Police say 19-year old Raymond Benitez of Des Moines has been detained in a material witness warrant in the death of 18-year old Judy VanLo. Benitez was stopped by U.S. Border Patrol Agents when he tried to cross into Mexico in Brownsville, Texas. Sources tell KCCI Benitez was dating VanLo and she was carrying his baby. He'll be extradited here for questioning.
