DM Man Takes Plea in Murder Case

Michael Wells of Des Moines has been sentenced to 50-years in prison, after taking a plea deal in last July's murder of Daryl Kenchelow. Wells pleaded guilty to attempt to commit murder, willful injury causing serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon. Wells was scheduled to stand trial for first-degree murder. Under the deal, he'll eventually be eligible for parole.
