Several boaters had to scramble back to shore this afternoon when a thunderstorm hit the metro area. KCCI says a three people were knocked out of their canoe on Saylorville Lake bear the Mile Long Bridge as the storm rolled through. They were able to get back into their canoe and head back to shore.
