Great Western Bank's getting a bigger footprint in Iowa. They've picked up 50-branches in the acquisition of First Federal Savings. Great Western branches will have new branches in this area in Ankeny, Clive, and West Des Moines. A Great Western spokesperson tells the Des Moines Register's it's interested in the market potential for agricultural lending in Iowa, the second largest agricultural producing state.
