CenturyLink is laying off 144 employees in Des Moines, and closing down its business office here September 7th. KCCI cites sources who say workers will reportedly be given the option of moving to Sioux City. The employees being let go are in sales, offering customers CenturyLink's bundled packages of internet, phone service and DirecTV.
