Cong. Leonard Boswell has good news--Des Moines getting $10-million from the federal government to finish the Southeast Connector, which will link downtown with Southeast 14th Street, and eventually extending east to the Highway 65 bypass. KCCI reports Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway's already done from Fleur Drive and south of downtown to across the Des Moines River and now to Southeast Ninth Street.
