About 300-Polk County residents who voted in this months' primary got a surprise when new voter registration cards arrived in the mail yesterday: they'd changed parties. It involved 300-or so democrats and republicans. County Auditor Jamie Fitzgerald tells KCCI it was human error and it happened at about 20 of the county's 177 precincts. Correct registration cards should be in the hands of those affected by the middle of next week.
