Nurse High on Job Gets Probation

A nurse has pleaded guilty to being intoxicated while working at Mitchell County Regional Health Center last Thanksgiving. 31-year old Julie Johnson of Ankeny pleaded to possession of morphine and pot. Prosecutors dropped five other charges in exchange for the plea. She's been sentenced to 2-years probation and a deferred judgment, and will pay $315 for each drug charge.
