Police say a man was biking through a Des Moines intersection on Tuesday - when another man apparently tried to run him over - and then the man shot the bicyclist. Police say 56-year-old Terry Wood of Des Moines first tried to run down the man on the bicycle - then got out of his vehicle and allegedly shot the victim. The man was hospitalized in critical condition. Wood has been charged with attempted murder, willful injury, and possession of an offensive weapon. Police continue to investigate exactly what led up to the shooting.
