DPS Commissioner Larry Noble's retiring, effective July 5th. He was appointed in January of last year. Noble told DPS staff he was stepping down this morning. According to KCCI, Noble says he wants to spend more time with his family, and having a 7-day a week job makes it tough to balance. Gov. Branstad says he's accepting Noble's resignation with regret. No word yet on who will replace him.
