Ankeny's School Board and Matthew Wendt have ended their battle over the former superintendent's severance package. The deal gives Wendt 6-months salary, down from a full year. KCCI reports the district sued him, claiming he'd mislead them on whether or not he had a new job when he negotiated a $176,000 exit package.
