Sioux City Police say customers at a convenience store grabbed and held onto a man who tried to hold up the place early this morning with a hammer. Police have charged 42-year old Shannon Ivory with first-degree robbery and two counts of assault while participating in a felony. Authorities are looking into Ivory's possible involvement in several other recent area robberies.
