Judge says 'NO' to Secretary of State

JUDGE WON'T TOSS THE VOTING RULES

Polk County District Court Judge, Mary Pat Gunderson has stopped Secretary of State Matt Schultz in his tracks.

The judge stopped his plan to dump non-citizens from the voter roll.

It is a temporary injunction that has muddied up the voter rules already. Gunderson said the Secretary of State's plan "created fear that new cititzens will lose their right to vote and maybe even be charged with a felony."

So the battle over voting rules just got kicked up a notch.
