Polk County's Health Department's holding close to 100 flu shot clinics county wide, starting Friday and running through November. Flu shots are recommended for kids over 6-months, and older adults and people with chronic health issues. Most major insurance plans are accepted, if not, it's $20, but no one will be turned away because they can't pay. More info's at www.polkcountyiowa.gov/health.
