A $35 million housing development will bring big changes to downtown Des Moines.
Hubbell Realty said Cityville on 9th will be built south of downtown at S.W. 9th and Murphy streets.
The nine-building complex is expected to provide 288 apartments and nearly 75,000 square feet of commercial space at the site of the old Des Moines-Pittsburgh steel plant.
