A big drop in car crash injuries in older patients has been found when the drivers are warned by their doctors that they aren't fit to drive. A new study out of Canada couldn't determine if the improvement came because patients drove less or is they were more careful after their doctors spoke with them. One US estimate says about 600 thousand older drivers stay away from the wheel because of health conditions
