School Baord Members Ordered Jailed and Fined

Four members of the Durant School Board in eastern Iowa, have been ordered to serve 30-days in jail and pay $500 fines for violating a court order. KCCI reports a judge found them in contempt for not reinstating high school principal Monica Rouse who challenged her firing in court and won. Despite the court ruling, the district refused to allow her access to Durant High School, her old computer, or student records.
