Des Moines' City Council's given its' blessing to the initial plan for the Cityville development just south of downtown. KCCI reports Hubbell Realty's 9-building project will go up at S.W. 9th and Murphy, near the new M.L. King Parkway. It'll have 288 apartments and almost 75,000 square feet of commercial space. Groundbreakings expected in the fall, with the first buildings opening in the spring of 2014.
