The people who clear Des Moines streets of snow will begin testing their gear for the season from 9 to 11a.m. Thursday. According to KCCI, DM Public Works and Parks and Rec crews will be going over their gear at the city supply yard at 2107 Market St. There'll be another round of re-acquaintance and proficiency checking October 1st from 1 to 3p.m.
