According to the College Board, more Iowa students are signing up for Advanced Placement classes. The Des Moines Register reports the number of students in the class of 2012 who took at least one AP exam during high school's hit 9600, up almost 9% from 2011, and almost 35% higher than the number who took 5-years ago.
