In a rare September spike - gas prices are expected to hit their peak for the year in the next few days..... but there's good news expected at the pump. Oil Industry Analysts predict that after this rise prices will start to fall next weekend. The average for a gallon of gas in Iowa today is $3.89 a gallon.
