The driver of a stolen SUV was speeding through Altoona yesterday when he caused an accident that killed 36-year old Chad Wells. The father of two was on his way to work when the accident happened. KCCI reports the SUV reached speeds of up to 90mph and drove through several intersections before colliding with Wells' vehicle. DaJour Sawyers was finally arrested on Jim German's property.
Sawyers faces numerous charges, including homicide by vehicle, reckless driving, and third degree burglary. He's in the Polk County jail.
