Two people have been arrested after an SUV flipped into a yard in Des Moines and landed in the sandbox. The Chevy Blazer was on Dubuque Avenue when it hit a curb at East 33rd, went through a chain link fence, and landed on the sandbox. Police said some children were playing less than 10 feet away near a trampoline. Two men inside the vehicle were arrested and a female passenger is still at large. Police said there was a strong odor of alcohol, but one of the men told police he only had one beer. More charges could be pending.
