The West Des Moines school district is getting closer to having a new superintendent. The school board received 49 applications and they've narrowed the search to four. Another round of interviews on April 7 and April 8. The system's next boss will oversee a $60 million renovation planned at Valley High School and will be charged with improving academics . That person will take over July 1.
