Des Moines police say someone broke into a home in the 1400 block of East 25th Street sometime in the last three weeks, and made it a lot harder to sell. They ripped all of the copper water pipe from the house. The theft wasn't discovered until last night, when a caretaker for the property noticed something wrong with the cellar door.
