Branstad at Education Summit

Gov. Branstad took the stage at the education summit today. He says states across the nation have moved ahead, raising academic standards while Iowa has remained stagnant. According to KCCI, the Governor says "The system in place does too little to support the incredibly valuable work that teachers do." He says Iowans have to accept that the state's no longer an education leader, and that it's time to roll up the sleeves and get to work.
