ISU Raised Less in Fiscal 2011

Iowa State University raised $342.3 million in fiscal year 2011, down 12% from last year's record. The Des Moines Register reports ISU officials say most of the decline was due to the end of stimulus and other federal funding. Those funds went to improve student education and supports faculty research by funding educational projects, financial aid, buildings, equipment and extension activities.
