The Iowa State Fair's Fabric and Threads division is looking for your unwanted fabric. They're also looking for volunteers for the annual State Fair Sew-In. The free program gives fairgoers a chance to try a few simple stitches, while knowing those stitches are putting together a warm blanket for a local child in need.
