Emergency Fed Money Coming for Highway Work

The federal government's come up with $2-million in emergency money that'll reimburse the State of Iowa for repairs its' done on roads that get federal aid during the Missouri River flooding. WHO-TV reports the money will pay for the costs of handling traffic, shoring roads and bridges, including sandbagging. With flooding expected to last several more weeks, keeping major highways closed, state officials say there'll be higher repair costs.
