Starting Wednesday, the Urbandale Food Pantry will offer health screenings to area residents, in partnership with the Polk County Health Department. The screenings being offered will change from month to month. They're free, but you can make a donation if you choose to. They'll screen for blood sugar, blood pressure, bone density, HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases in August.
