Des Moines Police say a family on the city's east side got some unwanted help while moving out of their Columbia Avenue home last night. In between trips from their old home and their new house in Ankeny, someone got into the house and stole all the copper pipe from their bathroom, basement and kitchen. KCCI reports there was extensive damage to the walls, and they have no witnesses or suspects.
