Iowa wrapped up the budget year June 30th, with $54.5-million in revenue collections above estimates. The state collected $329-million more than the previous fiscal year. The final numbers aren't done yet. The Des Moines Register reports the books on the 2010-2011 budget will be officially closed in late September. , according to preliminary cash totals.
