Legislature at Odds Over Regents Budget

State lawmakers are having a problem with a new budget, and the big problem is how much to spend on public universities, and schools for the blind and deaf. KCCI reports the two sides are about $65-million apart. House republicans want to cut spending by $256-million, while the Democrats in the Senate want to raise spending $34-million.
