September 30th. That's the date Southwest Airlines will start flying out of Des Moines to Chicago's Midway Airport. The Chicago-Des Moines flights, one way, are expected to start about $92. Southwest in January unveiled plans to convert AirTran Airways operations here and at 21-other U.S. and international airports.
