A million in local money's been pledged so far for a rapid transit bus service in Des Moines, and they're hoping to record another $3.5-million can soon be raised. DART needs $25 million to bring rapid bus transit to Des Moines, but they need to raise $5-million in local funding to qualify for federal grant money.
