There's debate over another abortion bill in the legislature. House GOP backers of cutting all public abortion funding don't think they'll succeed, but KCCI reports they want a debate and vote getting lawmakers on the record. Current law allows abortion funding when a doctor determines it's medically necessary and the woman doesn't have money or insurance.
