President Obama's Visit to UI

When President Barack Obama comes to Iowa, on Wednesday, he will speak at the University of Iowa Field House, 225 South Grand Ave., around 1 p.m., and doors open at 10 a.m.
The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required and will be available at the University Box Office in the Iowa Memorial Union starting at noon tomorrow. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to space considerations, a limited number of tickets will be available and are limited to one per person, and are not for sale or re-sale.
Parking near the Field House will be limited, and attendees are strongly encouraged to use public transportation.
All attendees for President Obama’s visit will be required to pass through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. Bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, and signs are not allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.
