West Des Moines' school board has a special meeting tonight to make a final decision on proposals to cut staff and programs for the 2012-13 school year. The Des Moines Register reports last night's board meeting was packed by students, teachers, and residents worried about proposed cuts, including reassigning 5-elementary school reading teachers.
