More charges have been filed against a Alan Cannon, of Clear Lake, who was accused of trying to hire two people to kill a 16-year-old girl that accused Cannon of sexually assaulting her.
31 year old Alan Cannon, was charged, in March, with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Yesterday, Prosecutors filed additional charges of attempted murder and a second count of solicitation.
Cannon also faces charges of third-degree sexual abuse and providing alcohol to a minor.
Cannon is currently in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $160,000 bond.
